DESCRIPTION:
The pair of brass backplates with flank-etched bergamot throne and the upper register is engraved with a central twisted singular fish face gazing at two fishtails outward.

Each backplate In the form of a lozenge is engraved and rich deep motifs and birds and herons, and animal scenes of gazelles, deer, leopards, hares and lions amidst entangled floral scrolls.
