DESCRIPTION: | This exquisite rectangular form, on the veneer carved in shallow relief of Quranic surah (Al Fatihah) in Square Kufic scripts, along with the arabesques carved in between the scripts, and flanked by split-palmettes, above and below bands of inscription in Kufic in cords.Additionally, In the centre of the exterior binding of countenance, a delicate strip carved with an exceptionally skilled and enthusiastic devotee in the silhouette of this grand splitting lustrous to the intricacy in the contour of waved off the end shaped inwards crescent moon emblem.The rear of the marble panel, it’s exquisitely ornated and intensely etched into marble with an uneven pattern in “Geometric Square Kufic”.The notable Surah of ( Throne verse) (آية الكرسي, Ayat Al-Kursi[a]) is the 255th Verse of the 2nd Chapter of the Quran-Al-Baqarah Quran (IICCLV).Surah al-Fatihah(I)بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيم١
[Bismi l-lāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm(i)]
1 In the name of Allah,[a] the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.[b]
ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّٰهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ ٢
[’alḥamdu lil-lāhi rab-bi l-‘ālamīn(a)]
2 [All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord[c] of the worlds –
ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ٣
[’ar-raḥmāni r-raḥīm(i)]
3 The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,
مَالِكِ[i] يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ ٤
[Māliki yawmi d-dīn(i)]
4 Sovereign of the Day of Recompense.[d]
إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ ٥
[’iy-yāka na‘budu wa’iy-yāka nasta‘īn(u)]
5 It is You we worship and You we ask for help.
ٱهْدِنَا ٱلصِّرَاطَ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ ٦
[’ihdinā ṣ-ṣirāṭa l-mustaqīm(a)]
6 Guide us to the straight path –
صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنعَمتَ عَلَيهِمْ غَيرِ المَغضُوبِ عَلَيهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّينَ ٧
[Ṣirāṭa l-ladhīna ’an‘amta ‘alayhim, ghayri l-maghḍūbi ‘alayhim wala ḍ-ḍāl-līn(a)]
7 The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favour, not of those who have earned Your anger or of those who are astray. |
