DESCRIPTION:
In a form of a musical instrument, this cotton beater equipment with a single string fixed to a crossbar used horizontally to swatting with a wooden masher to notch the cotton and blend for resources of popular use. This masterly technic retains and adopted for many centuries since the cotton occurred and developed into the wider middle eastern market throughout the (Silkroad routes).
The text written on the front of this board is a verse from the Qur’an and the the layout of the local notable goat’s in Timbuktu, follow-up the addresses the night of the first revelation of the Qur’an.
