DESCRIPTION: | Of drop form, the cut-steel body around a central drop shape formed of solid steel engraved with floral scroll, surrounded by a cut-steel band of scrolling flowering vine, a broad outer border with sura al-fath (Qur’an XLVIII, vv.1-2) in elegant thuluth on a ground of scrolling vine, one side of the inscription dated 1121, An engraved panel below, the whole enclosed within brass bands terminating in everted stylized dragon heads, inscribed at the base ‘Abd al-Wahhab Isfahani be-tarikh-e doyyum-e Shawwal. |
